Methodist's Together in Basildon:

The format is fun and informal.
We begin with half hour of chat and hot chocolate with the youngsters; we then spend an hour in creative worship. This has included making our own paradise! Looking at our image, how the world sees us and compares this with how God sees us. Praying through creative painting (a bit messy but great fun) we are currently looking a connect bible studies and covering such themes as Dido No Angel (looking at singleness) Computer animated films and Harry Potter.

We then finish the session with a meal. Chicken wraps, chicken Korma, hot dogs or Pizza.

The idea is that the themes and material are chosen by the teenagers and relevant to their culture.

Y.F.E. is on the 2nd and 4th Sunday 6.30pm - 8.30pm and is currently at Trinity Methodist Church, Clayhill Road, Basildon.
This is open to
ALL Youngsters age 11- 21. Church members or not, any denomination.

For further information please call Deacon Debbie on 01268 288672
