Churches in Basildon St Paul's Methodist Church
Who We Are
Situated in the heart of Lee Chapel North, St Paul's opened its doors in 1968 and continues to build on the foundation of fellowship and service started by the first worshipers.
We are a lively, friendly church that welcomes all seeking to know God. Our Sunday service is usually led by either our own minister, or an accredited local preacher, which means the style of worship varies from week to week, from the formal sacrament of Holy Communion, family services and all age worship through to Cafe Church, where breakfast is shared in a more relaxed atmosphere. In addition there is a regular weekday bible study.
The congregation has a wide age range and is culturally diverse. Our building has a hall that is used extensively by a variety of community groups, a kitchen and two small meeting rooms.
