The South Essex Circuit cherishes its place as part of the Methodist Church and is committed to the proclamation of the Gospel through word and deed and to social action.

The Circuit will, through its member churches, seek to encourage a living faith in God, to encourage a response to the call of Christ, and to grow in faith.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will seek to -

• offer thoughtful and challenging worship.

• serve our local communities through evangelism and social involvement.

• encourage the use of God's gifts.

• provide training and share resources.

• administer and fund God's work.
